Round-2 of the 2008 BOTI Sport Compact
Racing Series heats up and takes us to New England Dragway located in Epping,
NH.
Located less than an hour north of the Boston market, the inaugural
event presented by YoParts.com will feature some of the quickest and fastest
sport compacts in the country.
Leading the charge is current points
leader Marty Ladwig (San Antonio, TX) in Pro-FWD driving the Lucas Oil GM
Cobalt. Ed Bergenholtz (Santa Ana, CA) piloting the MAZDASPEED 6 and the team
experienced a minor driveline issue ultimately resulting in a final round
loss.
"We're definitely excited about adding New England Dragway (NED)
to our 2008 championship schedule," commented Frank Choi, Battle of the
Imports. "We have met with the folks at NED and this beautiful venue at less
than 100-ft elevation coupled with cool spring air, current class records stand
to be rewiritten. The fans are in for some exciting door to door
racing."

The Battle of the Imports will feature a competitive carshow with
