Gardella,
Prayoonto in current lead, Scion VIP event in full swing
Gary Gardella
(Jackson, NJ) leads the only other competitor in Pro-FWD Ed Bergenholtz (Santa
Ana, CA) who has experienced engine failure during the second round of
qualifying. "So far, we are still trying to figure out what the hell happened,"
commented Ron Bergenholtz.
"It's a repeat of what happened down in
Florida but we are tearing down the engine right now. We have another engine in
the trailer but we want to make sure we look at all aspects including tuning,
suspension settings, etc."
"Over in the carshow area, the Scion VIP
event is in full swing with an array of Scions on display including their
interactive Airstream trailer where customers can configure any Scion with the
options of their choice and see what it would look like prior to purchasing a
vehicle.
Close to 130 additional showcars are centered around the main
stage where lifestyle activities are getting under way. Import models, go-go
dancers, contests are keeping the fans really busy.
